It's saving me $15 per week to be driving this car rather than the one I had or the one I was going to get, and that's $780 per year! I'd save another $15 if gas prices went down to normal. Of course, that doesn't include the inflation it has put on consumer goods. It's going to take me more gas to get back and forth to work after August because of the new house location.

Since I only drive myself around and have to parallel park on the street, a small car that is reliable is what I depend on. My mom also is on her 3rd Toyota(owned a Tercel and 2 Corollas, the one she has now is 12 years old and still running great) and my brother has a Honda Accord, so these kinds of cars are what I'm accustumed to. The only time I ever has any desire for an SUV is when we have snow and we have to dig our cars out of snowdrifts. The benefits far outweigh the drawbacks.
